Camp Good News (CGN) is located in Hitchcock, Texas, a small town between Houston and Galveston. Our primary goal at camp is to provide a healthy, fun and safe environment for kids that will help promote the development of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We also desire to make this a week that your child will experience new friendships, outdoor adventures and memories that will last a lifetime. |
Our programs include:
Summer Day Camp - For children between the ages of 5-12 years this is a great alternative to traditional day care centers. We offer the children opportunities to participate in exciting activities such as Go-Karts, canoeing, daily swimming, crafts, Bible lessons and lots of interactive activities.
Summer Resident Camp (overnight camp)- For children ages 8-13, this is usually a life-changing experience that makes them want to come back each year. Activities include the Blob, the Zip Line, archery, canoeing, cook outs, go carts and MUCH, MUCH more! Kids love the high intensity worship, dramatic skits, interactive lessons and wacky camp traditions. Register your child/children early before registration is full!
Camp Good News also offers a wonderful retreat center for churches implementing both men's and women's retreats, youth conferences, children's retreats or any type of christian activities. Give us a call or email us for more information regarding retreats and pricing.
